Reportedly, the above 350 ton Liebherr was in the yard for service and a mechanic scoped the boom out to grease it. No counterweighs were in place. Editor's comment: Fair warning! I left the crane company's name off this time. The next time I receive a similar incident the company name will be left and highlighted for all to see. Negative exposure and embarrassment play a big roll in the effectiveness of this site.
